Can older versions of the tiu be upgraded to 6.1? I currently have a newer 50-1003 rev L. but would like a reliable backup since it seems MTH no longer produces or supports this product. Which older units are OK and which have proven to be a problem?

Yes. I just upgraded an early H without issue. Good luck.
Rev G works too, they just do not have fuses, and did require some mod over the years to improve them. Folks still use REV G. G
