Good evening all: Can anyone suggest an excellent custom decal maker? I used to get work done with Highball Graphics but have gotten any response to emails for over a year. I have gone online looking with no luck. Thanks

Maybe Bill Mosteller at 'Great Decals' can help you.
Cmr products does custom decals and decals in all scales.
Google search: K4 Decals, have had good luck with them in the past.
Thanks for your replies. I have tried all you have suggested. I came here thinking/hoping someone would have some info I am not aware of.
I had some custom decals made by Jeff Damerst at Shawmut Car Shops. He was very helpful and got me what I needed at a reasonable cost.
I had decals made by: Bedlam Creations, Charlevoix, MI 49720 - (231) 437-0200. www. bedlamcreations.com Very happy with the results!
Cheers, Dave
I touched bases with them also. No go.
or Protocraft may do a custom set for you. from what I understand. they have taken a break until April.
Matt Welke @ Circus City.

Congratulations your efforts to recover from your health problems are inspirational. The work on the layout also looks great, keep going.

There's a long list of decal suppliers at this link. Scroll down to the section for decals. Some are obvious choices, like Microscale. But many are small independent producers addressing specific roads, eras, or applications, and a handful do custom work.
In particular, I have heard good things about Circus City and Precision Design Company from people whose opinions I value.
edit: I just saw that Matt recommended Circus City already.

Thanks to all who have made suggestions. I did my research before I asked the larger model RR community and had reach out to most of those who you all suggested, I do have someone who says they can do the job. Thanks to you all.
Depending on what you want to make into a decal, try making your own with either clear or white decal paper. A good picture editor on your computer to size stuff up, and trial and error, many things you can make on your own that will look good for most, but the fellow wearing the eye loupe may grumble. I gave up on trying to find a straight on pic of the herald on a tender a while back, so many photos are wedge shots, and finally went to Highball Graphics who had the set I needed, which was only in October when I ordered from him. Maybe he is taking a break.
It has been over a year since I heard from Highball Graphics. They used to do decals for me and presently has some artwork from 2022, I have emailed them several times with no response. They do very good work though.
