Here is a clip i made this morning of the new Dementors Car. Its pretty cool. About every 2 minutes the flickering lights and sound turn on automatically. The sounds are creepy and sound just like the movie. You can even hear the ice cracking on the windows. It's quite loud which is good because you should be able to hear it over any trains you have running. There's an on-off switch if you just want the lights on and no automatic sound effects.

Looks great, sounds great. I would even throw this into a Halloween layout because of the ambience.
All around, it's a vast improvement over the original Dementors car. Fabulous job, Lionel. Glad to see you got this passenger car, right!
Nice car! When Lionel offered its first dementors car, it accidentally included the flashing light board in a pair of Christmas passenger cars if produced at the same time. All who bought the Christmas car, were surprised to see this flashing light thing. I returned mine to Lionel and they kindly corrected it in their service shop even though it was new old stock, purchased out of warranty.
Fantastic improvement over the original. Might have to add a small TMCC radio board to be able to enable/disable via remote.
