I a 14 year old Lionel ZW that has of lately been on the fritz one day there will power and no problems the next day i go to use it i have no power coming out on anything how do i go about determining what is actually wrong i see this one has a circuit board that controls everything.

Top suspect is the circuit breaker, it will affect all the channels. There are replacements available.
All right thank you i have another question totally off topic i have the 6-81025 Pocono 2-8-4 Berkshire Set can i run this locomotive with a legacy command remote if so how and if i can run it with remote can i lash it up with other legacy locomotives.
That set is a conventional locomotive, so you need variable track power to operate it. You could probably run it and the other locomotives in conventional mode without the Legacy remote, but it's a no-go to MU that with Legacy stuff under Legacy control.
