I cut and pasted, from your post, "Harry Heike base for the GCT v2" into the forum search, and you should too.

Nope, got tied up with unexpected company yesterday afternoon that went into the evening. I will call Harry today and post an update.

And that would have told me what? Nothing I didn't already know.

Please excuse me for having tried to help. Sorry I expressed myself so tactlessly.

Forrest:
Just got off the phone with Harry. A major client just added additional work that must be completed within the next 10 days. This put him a little behind the curve as far as the GCT Base project is concerned.
He should have photographs of the Version 1 & 2 GCT bases by January 20th with final pricing information. he did mention that those who have a serious interest in either version (of course depending on the final price) it would be nice to know a good estimate of potential orders for both versions.
So far, 9 have contacted me about the Version 1 GCT Base (the larger Terminal), and 17 for the smaller version. Just e-mail me to my profile if you have an interest and have not reported it to me before. Thanks for your interest.
And remember, when dealing with Harry Heike, we are supporting an active OGR sponsor who has an impeccable reputation for quality.
Thanks
you are counting me in the 17, right.
Thanks Brian!! One thing I would like to add...not only is Harry's reputation for quality well known, his honesty and sense of fairness in terms of pricing is a hallmark of how he does business with his customers. Thanks Harry!

Your are certainly in, Forrest. I am very excited about this project as with his manufacturing process, he is able to achieve some wonderful details. I mentioned to him yesterday about all of the awnings that are used on the real thing and how good that would look replicated on the model.
Can't wait.
i know this is probably covered, but i have to ease my mind by mentioning it...
got to have a hole in the base to drop through the wiring for the terminal lighting.
Forrest, he has a sample of both versions, so access for lighting is planned. I also mentioned up front how important good lighting is for this new accessory.
You won't be disappointed at the Base Unit or the PRICE (I have a good idea what it will be).
Thanks again Brian. Since I don't qualify fo a Big Boy or a Cab Forward, this is providing my winter excitement.
Brian,
I'd love to see a mockup of what's planned. TW is offering a discount on their base until 1/5. I'd hate to pass that up and see Harry's and be disappointed.
Any chance we can get more info on V1?
Chris...give Harry a call...I think you will not be disappointed!
Alan
two days to go!!!
T minus two and counting.
You were up early this morning, Forrest. I will talk to Harry this afternoon and post an update.
this was nothing.
