I happened upon an on-line vendor for diecast models called diecastmodels.com.  They carry a variety of items but what made the site appealing (at least right now) is the sale price of some of the items offered.  Not everyone has room on their layout for huge cranes and mining shovels but for Halloween Diecast Models is offering several models at special pricing.  For example the TWH Peterbilt 335 truck with the Jerr-Dan rollback is available in several colors for $55.  Normally this model sells for $109.95.  Click on Specials in the main page header to see these items.  There are other sale items including Oskosh front discharge mixers for $109.00 (usually around $219.95) and the Oshkosh HEMTT cargo truck for $90.00 (usually $179.95).  There are also items offered that are priced close to the other diecast model vendors but you can choose one of several TWH models as a bonus at no additional charge.  Just look for those items that have "Choose Options" in the main view.  They also offer free shipping to the lower 48 which is also nice.  If you are interested in detailed diecast models at a reasonable (sale) price you should check them out.

Thanks for posting this! They have some beautiful models on that site. I was looking at the fire equipment, and its a couple of levels above Corgi and everyone else, as to details. The prices reflect that. The young lady that does the product demonstration videos does a fine job, also. I might have to spring for one of them, but I'll have to cut out lunch for a couple of months.

The TWH models that DiecastModels.co offers are the last of what is is available. TWH closed its doors and DiecastModels bought the remaining inventory. They are superb models - museum quality - modeled with exact hydraulic lines, cables, canvas hose - these made Corgi models look like Matchbox toys. I have the Seagrave tiller, Kenworth Mechanic truck, Pierce Quantum engine and Velocity Ladder, OshKosh snow plow and ARFF Striker and JerDan flat bed wrecker. The best sale is when you purchase a model and get another free as a bonus! I bought the Seagrave tiller for $140 and got the OshKosh Striker for free!

What timing! Thanks, WJP ..... you just saved me $55 on a gift for someone. I was about to buy a particular TWH aerial ladder truck I found "cheap" online for $199 ... they normally go for up to $300. DiecastModels has it on special for $145.

And yea, AMCDave .... that Bucyrus shovel is awesome! With the really nice free gift they include, I would love to go for it.
