How do you remove the body from MTH Rail-King streamliner cars? I want to do some repainting and for that would like to get the window glass out. It looks as though the small screw under the truck at each end of the car might do the trick - is that right?

Remove the screws from the bottom, grab the roof on each end and twist in opposite directions. It will feel and sound like you broke it when it comes apart. That's how I did mine.

Do the twisting operation over a table with a large rag or two for the top to land on, sometimes they fly a few feet before landing! 
Thanks! Sounds as though the top comes off but the body/floor is all one piece. Is that right? Does the window "glass" come out once the roof is off? And if it sounds like I"m reluctant to try this, you're right – I've broken too many things to be really anxious to twist it.
Yes, on the RK cars, the top is a separate piece, and the sides and floor are one piece. The interior will come out, but the wiring below it is "interesting", so it's sometimes almost impossible to get it out without killing the wiring. The windows are usually just a strip of clear plastic, they're easy to replace if they get damaged.
I've taken dozens of them apart to install LED lighting and passengers, once you do a couple, you'll get the hang of it.
