I recently purchased a New-In-The-Box Lionel SP Daylight 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive with Railsounds 5.0. The deep "Chuff" sound of the Locomotive sounds like a speaker is "blown" ie. distorted. All other Railsounds functions ie. whistle; bell; Tower Com announcements; blow-down sounds etc play normal with clarity and no distortion. The chuff almost sounds like it's "electrical noise", more so than a blown speaker. I've done the "board reset" several times, removed the Tender shell and checked for loose wires, loose boards etc. and nothing seems amiss inside the Tender. Both Fat-Boy speakers are securely mounted and I can see no damage etc. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this "distortion" only in the "chuff sounds"..? Thanks for any help/suggestions.
