Artie, the new DL&W is the Depew, Lancaster, and Western, part of the GVT system owned by a fan of the original DL&W. The new DL&W runs near Buffalo, NY in the towns referenced in its name. They also have a line running from Binghamton to Scranton which explains the presence of the caboose in Scranton.

I stand corrected! Thanks for the enlightenment, Pete! I did not know they could use the old reporting marks. Really nice paint scheme. I need to drive over to Scranton to see what’s happening at Steamtown.

I guess when you own the railroad you can run whatever you want including a few cabeese. This one seen in western New York.

The roof walks are the old Weaver parts. I thinned them considerably with a single edge razor blade.

Truly excellent models of the real thing, Malcolm. My wife is even excited about it! She knows the DL&W holds a place in my heart. I’m glad you learned of these unique cabooses.

All seven are done. Five have new homes and 6 more are cutout for assembly later.
