i have mine set to email me every time time a new post is created on this section it sends me a email instantly the way to do this is go the form that you want to follow and press follow this topic on the right side pain. This will email you usually about a min after it is posted

You have to follow the for sale or trade forum. When you do that, any time something new posted, you get an email. However... I feel your pain. There have been numerous times where something has been posted, I send an email within minutes and I get "sorry, someone already claimed it."

I have the philosophy that if I missed out on an item sometime in the future I will find it for the same price or a less. I also hope the person that bought it enjoys it

I look at it that if it was meant to be then the transaction will happen. If not then there will be a next time. I do understand the feeling of disappointment.

thanks Rob and Mike I have no idea about that message alert when items get posted I have been a member since 2006 just changed my settings thanks again for you help.

Been there and done it. Even with email alerts, I have missed out on a few. I with Jeff on this, if its meant to be it will happen.
