I am airbrushing a styrene Ameribuild kit. Do I need to put a sealer coat over the paint? If so what should I use? I am using acrylic paints.

I've never had to seal acrylic paint, what brand are you using and what is their recommendation? Acrylics (non-model paint) like those sold at Micheals can come off styrene sometimes, I would wash the building after assembly in soap and water, rinse and let dry before painting.
I washed the building in warm soapy water prior to painting. I am using Model Master Acrylic. Funny that you would mention the acrylics sold at Michaels, I have had issues with that coming off styrene, and that prompted me asking this question.
The wash was done with a diluted latex paint, and the detail was done with Testor's acrylics, many years ago. It's never been sealed or over-coated. The red is the plastic, washed before the dilute latex paint was applied.
Thanks for the feedback. Your building on the right looks very similar in style and color to what I would like to achieve.
One note of advice: buy acrylic thinner sold for the paint you're using to thin paint for air brushing (if the paint needs thinning). Don't simply use water. The acrylic thinners are chemically compatible with the paint and work best.
In my opinion...I always like to give a model a quick light hit of dullcote which will seal the model (dries clear and has a matte finish). In my experience..it seems like paint fades over time and this helps a bit from
reducing that. Do a test area first..see if you like the results.
