My fellow Technicians and I at Eastside Trains have not seen any of the newer shop repair paper work for the latest LEGACY control boards/sound boards. It can be very hard for us to service our customers items now. We have paper work for the modular set up but not these newer series. Are we the only ones with this issue?? We are certified Lionel Repair station with a certified Lionel Technician. Any answers help.

Ask Lionel. I do not think they have published this info. G
I have that information at home. I am on the road now. Here is as close as I could find here. For those who are not familiar with Eastside Trains, they are the best train store in the west. They also have some can do tech guys. I met these guys with my friend Larry Brown. On the far right, power in and motor leads on the 4 pin plugs. Grey and black wires are roller hot and ground, blue and yellow are motor wires. On the far left, the two pin connection on the far lower left is rear coupler and the one on the right of that is the front coupler. The longer 4 pin connections above the couplers are main smoke and whistle smoke. Main smoke is next to the coupler plugs. You can mix and match to troubleshoot smoke unit. The smaller connection to the right of the rear coupler is plus 5V , board ground, the other 4 go tho the center of the run/program switch, the smoke on/off switch, the odyssey on/off switch and the whistle smoke switch. Other smaller plugs to lighting and serial.
In the center of the board off centered left is the radio (RCVR) receiver board. In the lower left of that board is your antenna plug. The receiver board has 4 pins on one end and three on the other end. It pulls straight up to remove. That info is off the top of my head. As stated, I have the info at home and will get it to you when I am there.

FWIW, the RCMC board system is the best in the business. No more modular boards to deal with. No more driver boards or smoke regs to deal with. On stop shopping.
This might help a bit better for now. This view is turned from the other.

Hey, thanks for the info and shout out. We try our best to please out customers. Much appreciated. Just this will help us a lot. If anyone else has info, just keep feeding it in.
Hit my email in about a week. Larry Brown introduced me to Steve and a few of your tech guys. I was the guy that does the high end repairs for Charlie Ro. The big help with the RCMC is troubleshooting smoke units. If main smoke or whistle smoke does not operate, just swap plugs and see if it is your unit or other. Also great for troubleshooting couplers. Just swap plugs to get to your end result. Same coupler deal with LionChief+. Just remember all board grounds are not the same as chassis ground. After the black and grey wires (Hot and Ground) go into the board, all metering and troubleshooting is board ground.
