There is not a prototype version of this that I know of. The Boston and Maine had some great steam locomotives, but not in a paint scheme like that.

This was manufactured by Mehano and likely sold through IHC. They were known for their HO fantasy schemes. Great Northern and New Haven GG1s and several others.

However, if you like it, does it matter? Nothing wrong with custom painting one in O that way.

I didn't think so. I don't mind fantasy paint schemes I have thought about doing a steamer in a B&M blue version. As soon as I get the other 10 projects ahead of it done! rolleyes
