I bought the latest rendition of the LCT blue comet 2600 series cars 11-80001 and i got a small chip on the corner in the process of getting the roof off to remove the protective foam. Does anybody know if MTH sells touch-up paint to match? If not does anybody know if floquil has a shade of blue that is close? Thanks in advance.

Take the roof to Micheal's or some other craft store and buy acrylic paint in the 2 oz. bottles. They cost only about $2.00 or so. If you buy 2 different shades you can mix a few drops together for a perfect match.

I would consider that chip the first of many bit of the cars personality. May it get loved so much it acquires a few more personality scars.

Yes. MTH will give you paint.
The MTH "touch-up" paint is a two-part process: the paint and a hardener that has to be precisely mixed and applied promptly. NOT easy to work with!
As an alternative, I secured METAL paint chips from MTH, went to the local hardware store for a computerized match and custom mix.
