Just wondering if any club has had a problem with people going to the inside
of the layout. Shirts and badges are a nice thing to have...
Tough times have hit our Glancy train club though.
This is what we have to wear now. Hope it works...

I'm sure THAT has an impact on the visiting public!!
Most clubs just dress up like fat old men.

Hey, what is wrong with fat old men?
TCA Southern Division had yellow T shirts made up with the SD logo on the front. Very noticeable.
The garden railroad club I belonged to when I lived in Virginia had shirts and baseball caps which we wore to our public events (about seven or so per year).
Yes, our entourage often wear uniforms at our shows.
Oh, you meant Train Club....
Well, there was one of those small park trains that ran around the perimeter where this festival was, and the operators were in uniform.
I love my job!
We have club shirts and wear them at all NJHR Open Houses.
(Mine is on order!)
The Clarksburg Area Model Railroad club (Clarksburg West Virginia) has ball caps, badges and shirts! A few members even have vests!

Our club wears club t shirts for our shows and outer events we do.
NLOE member's all where shirts with our logo at our shows and some of us look like "fat old men." The upside of that is we're having fun and smiling all day.
Anyone caught braking through the outer defense perimeter of the Casey Jones High Railers modular layout is captured and held hostage. They are not allowed to leave until they have successfully programmed a PS2 engine into a TIU, start a PS2 engine, and mastered all functions on a DCS hand held.
Here are some pictures of most of the Casey Jones High Railers in uniform.
A few drinks after a long hard day of running trains at the Pink Palace back in October of 2010
And here we are in our Dress Maroon Uniform back in 2011 at a Casey Jones TCA train meet..

Wow!
We have polo shirts, but I like yours better. As for people going into restricted areas, we put up a rope blocking off the staging yard when it gets really crowded.
We have polo shirts, oxford shirts & hats for all open house & public events. We seal off our staging for big open house events.
We don't need no stinking shirts, we are model railroaders!!
Our club, Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders aka www.ocsmr.com have our own club shirts decorated with our logo and names. Most wear their shirts on run nights and always at shows that we do over the year.

I'm with you, I think, although I find the thought of all us fat old people without shirts somewhat alarming.

Our "club" (actually a museum, registered as a nonprofit educational institution), has polo shirts with our logo and name badges, which we wear at open houses.
Our club spends all our money on trains and ... well, there just wasn't enough left for uniforms ... but we do wear name-tags! Does that count?
