I like Doorstops and I like rough stuff like this home brewed crane thatis probably 70 or 80 years old and all tin. The old P&S machinery car needs a paint job too.

That is beautiful. I have one, but it is not nearly that nice.
Great modeling craftsmanship.
Nice!
That is nice! I love to old kits too.
That's a brute Dennis, do you plan on restoring the rigging as well? Is the entire crane a scratch build or are there manufactured components to it like the car body or chassis? The RMCA has a similar looking crane that I was told was a hybrid bashed from a Locomotive Work Shop kit. The tool car's a nice bonus too.
Excellent looking model.
I'll go take a closer look at it. On first glance I ad the impression it was pretty much all scratch just do to the imperfections.
Different crane. Boom not as good, but better rivets on the body. Trucks from my 17/64 pattern, cast by Allan Wehrle
Better photos later - I have added a brass and wood tender similar to the one Lionel supplied in the 1950s, only bigger and not plastic.
Speaking of Lionel, they did a similar crane that was apparently a work of art, and it operated! Gasp!

That's a cool piece! Thanks for sharing!! Nothing wrong with a good door stop.
