So I finally made enough time to create a brass plate to hold repro Wide Gauge trucks together. Now my issue is finding the center pin or something to bolt the center together and be able to attach to the Dorfan freight cars.

Ideas anyone? The black truck has the center pin and I added the brass plate which helps to stabilize the truck halves.

Please let me know and thank you.35ACE9E9-F3CB-41BA-9A87-FA54BA3D4F23C0983D5E-EBB1-471A-82A7-0CC8183267826235E9B3-3BA5-44EB-A0F3-F206755B90C2137BEDA3-AACE-4A20-915F-E3B6FE33BA9F

CC How about a flanged brass tube insert? You can tap it for internal threads or use a push-on emblem speed nut to attach inside the freight car. These are Weatherhead part number 2030 X 4, 1/4-inch OD and used to reinforce 3-8-inch OD nylon air brake tubing, but they are also available in 1/8-inch OD for 1/4-inch OD tubing as part # 2030 X 2. Available at most NAPA parts stores.

Well after looking around at a unit where I work at I found the perfect solution. Edelbrock makes this 8009 carb link kit that had all I needed to put the trucks together and they should stay together. I finished them up with paint and journals and I think they will work just fine. I have attached some pictures.F2973F4A-25B1-4075-90B4-5B40A059D156E5E8400D-4C4F-4C32-8E6E-5353788DC285
