Work on the Duckunder Terminal Railway's scene of Prosperity, West Virginia continues towards completion with the addition of figures, telephone and light poles, and a rudimentary train shed to wait for the local out on the main line.
George Lasley crafted the shed from scratch using photos of such sheds we had researched from several websites, including the N&W Historical Society. Note the interior rib and roof details. George is the master!
Most of the poles are erected for communication and electricity (including transformers), but the lines are not yet in place.
We are nearing completion of this scene.
Sorry for the paucity of photos, but time didn't permit more. I have been prepping for an all-day ULI (Urban Land Institute) transit planning workshop tomorrow with HUMAN TRANSIT author Jarrett Walker that starts at 7:30 AM. I am jazzed!
