Its nice. Really nice. And the layout is as good as ever. But Im' partial to those 0-8-8-0s you posted some time back.
Beautiful.
Thanks, Lee and Arthur.
One of the 0-8-8-0 locomotives is shown waiting to switch the Old King Coal #2 steam coal tipple (more modern than OKC #1).
Will, you and George have done an amazing job with this - and relatively quickly too!
I've just met George via email on another subject and look forward to perhaps meeting you both someday. Actually, I think I did meet you Will at our first York in Oct 09...
Great pics.
Peter
Great story & photos......... Well done.
Will, now you are talking! Steam engines are great, but diesels are king for me.
Art
Wow. Those are some rather fantastic pictures. I am so blown away by the level of artistry many demonstrate within this hobby. Just beautiful locomotives doing what they do and surrounded by some really realistic and cool scenery.
My compliments
PS. I like steam, but......and with me, there is always a but...LOL....I really love diesel locomotives.
Will,
Your railroad is beautiful. Please make sure those hard working men are paid well - it looks like back breaking work.
Is a video in your future? Your old ones were very good.
Glad to see you had the 0-8-8-0 on the Ready Track just in case one of the diesels broke down!
Gilly
Terrific railroad.
Am always saddened to see diseasels inevitably supplanting steam
What a great looking layout. You should be very proud!
