The monthly train show at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, IL is this coming Sunday.  I will be there at the McDonalds on County Farm Road across from The Verdict at 7:00 AM for breakfast.  Hope to see you there.

We can talk about the new Spencer Packing Co. 40 ft steel reefers that Atlas announced in their last catalog.  I didn't think that I would live long enough to see this.

Art, sorry I missed you today but got a early start scouting the show. Picked up some odds and ends and was leaving by 9:30 so I can enjoy this nice weather.

I had another great show today.  I don't remember not having a good show, but it was a beautiful day, got to see a lot of friends, good crowds, and a lot of great bargains.  Plus got out in time to join my wife and family for church to boot.

Three things that I didn't buy and may wish that I had.  Complete set of K-Line 21" Milwaukee Road cars, new in boxes.  While I was thinking about it, someone else bought them.  He who hesitates is lost?  Walthers Fuel Depot assembled and weathered for $25.  I have a new one in the box that I should have sold and bought this one.  Very nicely weathered too.  And a set of three three-story buildings for $25 that looked very nice.

I did buy two cars for $25 each, an MTH 50' airslide hopper in Milwaukee Road and a 40' AAR Box Car in Union Pacific.  The hopper car is very nicely weathered.

Very nice buys, Art.  Those 21 MR cars would have been nice; however, I have been in the same situation...had to think about but then gone!
