Have a relay failure on the DZ-1240. Previously - the reverse direction relay failed. Dennis, at Z-Stuff, wired the horn relay to take over for the revers direction relay. Now - the other relay failed. This is aggravating to say the least.
The module passed tests, as specified in directions, but with a lighted caboose on the track, the light never blinks twice (to signify direction change).
The module did not work initially using 10 VAC. Had to switch it to the 14 VAC posts on the Z-4000. Worked fine for several months. Now the relay does not function.
Has anyone had this problem?
Can the board mounted relay be replaced?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh - I emailed Dennis - no answer.
