Note:

NEVER open attachments and NEVER click on the links from unsolicited emails from people you may have conversed with in the past. Those are 99.999% sure to be malware, and such nasty things as that.

IF you are good email friends with the guy that "sent" the email... a quick email with the question "Did you send this?" will protect thy posterior. If he sent it and assures you it's legit, good. If not, then "hey bud, you've got malware and/or a virus on your computer!".

Don't ask me how I know this.

Never Open Them!

Yes, that was me that did the haiku threads. And, yes, I got one too & deleted it. In all probability, someone got hit, had Mike's E-mail address (and ours) in their address book and the malware chose his address as the sender. Every time I see one, I'd like to carry out some "fundamental frontier justice" on the virus writers.
