Hi all, when I try to post a message or reply using Edge or Chrome the edit field for the message does not appear. If posting a new topic the subject field appears but not the body of the message. I do not have this problem with Fireofx. Any ideas?

Here's an idea...use Firefox.
Why would you need multiple web browsers anyway? Chrome, Edge, and Firefox all do the same thing, but there are far fewer privacy issues with Firefox. Chrome sends your browsing data to Google and Edge sends it to Microsoft.
FWIW, I use a Chromebook and have not encountered any issues. Perhaps you're using an old version of Chrome?
And the concept of privacy is sooo last century...

And your comment is so typical of 21st Century people who don't give a hoot about their own privacy!
Are you OK with Chrome tracking literally every move you make on the internet and reporting that information to Google? Or with Edge doing the same and reporting to Microsoft? Sorry, but I'm not willing to provide those tech companies with that kind of information.
Firefox is an Open Source browser, which means they are not obligated to anyone with regard to reporting anything. You can shut off all that behind the scenes activity in Firefox.
I understand that privacy on the internet is an oxymoron. There is no such thing. It doesn't exist. But I also understand that there are things I can do to limit how much of my private information gets reported to the tech giants. I don't want to make it easy to harvest my information. That's why I suggest using Firefox.

Maybe, but we can keep trying.

It was sarcasm - yes, I am concerned, have nothing against Firefox, and would like to see the enactment of stronger privacy provisions. However, I've chosen to weigh the reduced virus and ransomware risk of using a disposable Chromebook (and storing sensitive documents elsewhere) against the cost and hassle of buying and maintaining robust anti-virus software. That's a windmill that I choose not to tilt against. Different strokes for different folks.
