Edna Jeffreys Todd, owner of Todd's Train Depot in Wendell, NC passed away on Thursday, May 14 after months of declining health.  She and her husband, Wayne started the store in the early 90's and Edna continued to operate the store for another 20 years after Wayne's passing.  I am sure all those who visited her shop will miss her there.

Memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, May 17 at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Don

This was my LHS. I had known of Edna's health difficulties and her subsequent decline. My wife and spent many hours with her and the folks there: Terry, Jerry and Steve. Christine and I will miss talking with her about fishing, trains, dogs and York.

Hopefully the store will continue, but it will never be the same visiting there without her. A truly unique store, selling ONLY O gauge products. I have bought the majority of my trains from her, and I learned much from her and the staff.

I am glad she has found peace. We will miss her very much. Our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

Thanks for posting this, Don.

Bruce (and Chris)
