I was doing a little research and found some great photos of a Pere Marquette Parlor Car. The elegant interior is just fantastic! I think I might scratch build one if I can... These photos are circa 1905.

Ah, luxurious travel in the good ole days....not an image you see flying coach with
your knees under your chin, after the airport hassle.
It's rolling furniture. The curved windows are amazing. What a wonderful way to travel.
check out the march meet home page and look at the model contest page from last year. The winning passenger car is similar. You could start with a labelle kit and some castings from Icc the railing your on your own
I'd like to scratchbuild that too! I just have to get away from the Victorian houses long enough.....
I always thought there would be a market for these, but Scott told me they considered it, and found that there are just too many variations. Best hope would be generic.
I have a La Belle kit, and look at it now and then. Building it would be a daunting task.
Let me guess that if those MTH "Old Time" coaches were a success, MTH would be the best bet.

Not really....but then, I've built several (mostly HO, a couple O) and LOVE to build kits like this. If it's your first LaBelle experience, I can understand where it might seem daunting to look at the boxed contents!
You might use the forum to enquire whether someone might like to build the kit for you and at what price. Asking for references, if you're so inclined, is appropriate.
LaBelle car kits are gorgeous when built and finished...as J Daddy has shown above. In fact, I wish they would attend York, if only occasionally, and promote their products for O3R...not at all inappropriate, especially for the O3R-Scale crowd.
FWIW, always....

Yes, those sides really call for the ICC castings. The real interesting challenge is that curved large glass end under the roof observation bit - very cool.
Railing is something I don't know where to get and I need some nice railing for several projects now. Guess you might use something from Grandt Line?
Neat car!

Probably can one of the pros that build passenger cars to do this one for under $1k....
Beautiful cars!
