Employee sets Conrail to ?

Someone dropped by at my garage sale today.  He stated that he used to work for Conrail when they were broken up to the other railroads.  Apparently there are several employee sets that he was given from either Conrail or the company that took over.  From what I can find, these were probably made by K-Line and not Lionel.

He wants to get rid of the sets, along with a lot of items like Conrail jackets, keys, etc.  Does anyone have a list or pictures of these sets?  I want to give him a fair price but don't know where to start. If I have the set or item numbers, I can probably figure out a value.

Thank you for the links. I'm glad I'm a digital subscriber.  It was easy to look up the information.  Interesting history on the sets by K-Line and especially the last one by Lionel.  I'm hoping the gentleman who has the sets decides to sell them and calls me.

In case you're not aware if @lionelflyer wants to sell them, or to handle the sale for the seller that visited his garage sale, he will need to post them in the "For Sale or Trade" forum here.  This forum exists to establish and enforce rules about sales between members ensuring, among other things, that we all get an equal chance at them, assuming we're interested.
