I have one engine with an EOB Cruise system, and several with ERRCo. Cruise Commander and Cruise Commander M systems.  The ERRCo. units all perform flawlessly on all portions of my pike, but the EOB stalls out with blinking lights in several places.  What's more, the problem gets worse the longer the engine runs.

I've even brought it to other layouts and witnessed the same problem.

Is this common with EOB vs ERR units?

Jon is the problem the cruise or the problem a signal or antenna issue?Blinking normally signifies that type of problem, What's the engine and what is the antenna (a railing)when operating the engine put your hand over the engine and see if the blinking stops a sign I have found of signal issue. Antenna could be working loose as it is run more. Or is the board heating up which is the enemy of all electronics.

I'd try swapping the R2LC with one of the properly running units if investigating the antenna installation doesn't yield a solution.  Some R2LC boards just have less sensitivity and will cause problems like you describe.  The previous post about antenna issues is probably more likely, but if that doesn't solve the issue, the board swap would be my next try.
