I just purchased an Atlas GP35 on ebay. It is in excellent condition and runs great with complete sound.
Although I can lower the sound with my Legacy remote, it only goes down so much, before going completely silent on the nest step down from my remote, which is still too loud for my small layout. I did not find a pot on the underside of the engine and the instructions make no reference to a volume control pot.
I wonder, though, is there a pot mounted on the sound board so that I could turn the volume down a little more.
