ERR Sound Converter source code and Atmega processor

Was looking for a solution to the ERR Sound Converter no longer being available and ran across these cheap Atmega boards on eBay. Has anyone tried to load the source code for the sound converter in an Atmega processor and were you successful ? You can get these boards on eBay for under $3. Some even have a USB plug to facilitate loading. j
