Good Afternoon, I'm in track planning mode right now and I was wondering what tracks are adaptable with Fastrack. I'm going to be using Fastrack on 95% of my layout, but to be able to utilize a Millhouse turntable I'll need either Atlas track or one of the other prototypical tracks. I'm planning on implementing an oval (that will utilize O-72 track for the large steam locos) to run the entire perimeter of my layout and it will connect to my turntable. Once its in the area of the turntable it will encompass Fastrack eventually. What tracks have an adapter that work with Fastrack ?. As usual any info provided will be deeply appreciated and thanks once again.

Fastrack makes the adapter piece that is 5" long. It has Lionel "O" pins on one side.
So, any track that can adapt to regular Lionel "O" will work.
You would go from your Fastrack to Fastrack Adapter to track of choice to get to your turntable.
Is there a relatively easy way to adapt the Fastrack switches to be used with tubular track. I would like to use the same switch footprint without the added length of the adaptor tracks.

Mars,
The FasTrack adapter track works well with Conventional Tin Plate Lionel O Guage Track and Switches, before I went to FasTrack remote control switches I used many FasTrack transitions, If you are going to use Atlas, there is also an Atlas Industrial Rail
transition track that works well with almost every different kind of track, they are full length pieces and cost about $8.50 each, I used both on my fair sized FasTrack layout for many years.
ekaz,
You can always cut your O Guage Conventional Tubular track to any size you need, however FasTrack adapter track only comes in the 5" length.

Thanks Pine Creek. That is probably the easiest option. Problem I'm having is that some of the switches join a curve and I think the transition pieces are only straights.
