I have a Fastrack switch which will only activate in one direction. I have opened the switch up and checked all connections and can't see and obvious problems with the internals or any signs of excess heat or damage to the motor driver board. I'm assuming the problem is most likely with the driver board itself and wondered if anyone knows of a mail order source for these since they are unavailable from lionel.

Actually, I'd check the microswitches first, it's more likely it's those. You won't get the internal boards from anywhere but Lionel I suspect. I'm assuming you're talking about this board in the parts listing...

Thanks for your input. Took your advice and reversed the inputs from the micro switches to the driver board to test your theory and switch worked in the opposite position (points would now move from out to thru). Had a couple of spare micro-switches from a previous repair and replaced the one on the side not working. Now have a fully functional switch.

Glad it worked out for you. Those switches are a weak spot in the Fastrack switches, so that's where I go first for issues like yours. Sometimes they just need a little adjustment. Since there is no provision for that, I use either a file to adjust them one way or JB-Weld to build the arm out a bit.
