A friend has two O72 Fastrack Switches that he said worked when he tested them stand alone (using aux power - 14V). When he installed them on his new layout (using aux power - 14V), they did not work. After removing them, they no longer worked stand alone. No lights, no switch action, nothing.
I removed the back of one switch and found no continuity between the switch AUX IN connector and the circuit board connector. The red wire between them has a component inline (under shrink wrap). Before I remove the shrink wrap and destroy any hope of warranty repair, does anyone know what the component is? Resistor, diode, fuse?
