Also too, Fastrack track switches are pretty reliable wrt parts failure. I have seven of them (remote)  in daily use on the PER and in three yrs the only failures I've had were a cold-solder connection at a motor (fixed in a second with the soldering pencil) and an incorrectly mounted motor that permitted the motor pinion to jamb on the mating rack-gear (fixed by re-setting the motor in it's cradle).

I am slowly going about soldering all buss-bar connections on the underside of my switches as the stock crimped connections are prone to going high-resistance over time. Also, occasionally someone will post here about new switches with scrambled internal wiring. Oh, and the point-rails on manual switches sometimes need dressing to fit correctly against the outside rails.
