Yes, there are Fastrack track switches that work with TMCC. They have a radio inside that looks like this:

The brown wire at the right is the antenna.

They have a black push-button switch as seen at the upper right between two ties at the outboard ends.

These track switches also have an extra terminal on the terminal block on the underside labeled "Data".

Yes, I mean the wire from the lever mechanism to the track.  If TMCC does not need this wire, but there are no wireless Fastrack switches, what do TMCC users do with the wire?  Do you remove the wire?  Do you hide the wire and lever out of sight?

Yep, disconnect wire and connected lever and put it in a box. Having less wires to control a train layout is good thing.

Are any Fastrack remote switches wireless?  Some pictures in the Lionel catalog and online stores show remote switches both with and without wires from the switch mechanism to the track.  None of the descriptions I have read say whether the switch is wired or wireless.

Thanks.

I have both Command Control and regular Fastrack Switches that I use the new LCS ASC2  for Command Control. However, I also keep all my wired remotes hook up for manual operation.  To answer your question all the remotes mechanism have to be wired directly to the switch in order to activate, there is no wireless switch mechanism available.

Thanks for the replies.

Seeing retailers Photoshop wires out of the pictures makes me wonder what else they Photoshop.  I have not bought anything online yet, only bought from local hobby shops, and this makes me want to continue buying only what I can see in person before I buy.  Luckily there are some good hobby shops near me.

They photoshop out the same kind of stuff that they do for celebrities or models. Take a few pounds off, touch up the color, remove red eye. Then you have a beautiful looking engine or equipment piece.

I find its best to wait and see it for yourself to be sure it is what you want, the descriptions are not always correct and you can't go by photos. If its something that may get away I always check this forum and have even contacted Lionel Directly.
