are they still having a wiring problem with the aux power hook-up and shorting out ? i bought 5 and 3 shorted out when hooking up aux power

If your having a problem, the switches are new old stock, they corrected the problem in later runs.
The listed fix works.
thanks for the info now that the switches are shorted and the boards are burnt is there a fix for them or do i have to buy new switches again . Is there a production date some place on the switch or do i have to take them apart to check the wires?
How did the boards burn out?
Call Lionel and find out if the boards are available or if the switches need to be replaced.

Short circuit if I connect the track without the jumper and no wire to aux turn on track power try to connect the switch it sparks and trips my track power circuit breaker
