One of my switches will change w/o any operation of the switch controller. I use Cab 1 TMCC control. I suspect that I inadvertently programmed the switch, OR is it a defect?? How do I take this gremlin out of the system?

Bump Surely SOMEBODY out there in O Gaugeland knows the answer!!
Does it only happen when a train is getting close or rolls over switch? If it does there is probably a loose wire, I would remove switch turn over and make sure the wires are in there proper position and not pulled out or loose.
Also what is the part# of the switch.
As Kevin asked, when is this happening? If it is when a train is on or near it, check your wiring, particularly for a lose wire.
If it is a command control switch, press the programming button on the switch. The lantern should be blinking. select SW on your CAB 1 or CAB 2 and key in a number for that switch. The lantern should go out and the switch should respond to commands for that switch.
If neither of those work, call a priest.
