I just purchased a Williams C&O Pere Pere Marquette E7 AA set from a forum member.
I would like to change out the pilot on the front A unit to a fixed one. What is involved in doing this. I do not need to be able to couple up a train to this A unit since the trailing A unit I will keep stock with its normal coupler.

This was a discussion from last year regarding scale conversions of Williams E7's. A P&D front pilot seems to be the way to go. Not much "how to" info, however.
I could no longer find Hot Water's pictures of his Williams CB&Q E7 conversions (from August 2011 in the 3RS forum) but I thought they looked terrific. Jack, can you re-post them?
I will have to make a quick trip to P&D tomorrow and get an F3 pilot and the correct paint.
