Flashing cab light

I have a lionel Southern diesel legacy and the cab light is flashing both when moving and idle. I did not see anything in the manual regarding this, is it a signal for something?

Newer legacy locos will blink a diagnostic code whwn there is a problem. The last page of your manual should list what the # of blinks indicates. Sometimes a reset will erase the code and fix the problem.
