flashing light in cab on atsf gp7 from 2008

I just got this engine on eBay and put it on my track to test. When I applied track power the cab interior light started flashing, not like an error code flash but a constant flash about once a second no matter if the engine is running or not. Tried the reset on the remote and programming the engine to 1 to no avail. All of the functions seem to work ok , smoke , sound , and motion. Has anyone ever seen this before?
