...now offered through several distributors as well as direct.
Also, Testors, a division of Rustoleum Paint and owners of the Floquil name, have released a limited number of common railroad paints back into their standard hobby paints line. The plethora of unique paint colors for various flags/eras, however, is gone.
MicroMark also has a line of railroad paints.
Scalecoat paints are still around, too.
Our (LHS) former Floquil customers seem to have found solace among the alternatives. And, there's more being added by demand all the time....just as it was with good ol' Floquil.
BTW...remember 410M paints? No?....too young? The world was going to come to an end upon their demise.....various kit manufacturers used their paints for pre-painted wood/metal sides. The 'perfect' match for other components on the kit car was THAT 410M paint, available at your local hobby shop (there once were lots of them around back then, too!)
We'll survive.

I have found that Badger Airbursh's "Model Flex" paints are an excellent alternative to either Scalecoat and Floquil.
Recently, I kitbashed and decorated an MTH gas motor car and trailer RPO for the Milwaukee Road as it was retired in 1953. It took first place at the Milwaukee Road Historical Associations 2017 annual convention held this year in Ames, Iowa. All of the paint used on the project was Badger Model Flex.
I hope this helps.
I would echo the Tru-Color paint.
Tru-Color paint is generally excellent and very accurate. I'd say more so than Floquil ever was. We use their paint samples for a lot of 3rd Rail projects where little or not paint data is commercially available. While it is easy to find the real color for many roads, Dupont doesn't share that information and the new formulations without lead don't match the original paints anyway. Tru-Color is a very good product and they seem to be expanding their line rather than shrinking it.
We not only sell Tru Color paint but we use it on our models brass plastic as well as wood a terrific product!! Here is a link:
How about replacement of Floquil in the rattle can?
Was super convenient in Pullman Green, Engine Black, and Aluminum...
