My Meteor Northern does not seem to want to negotiate R20 S-trax curves without leaving the track. Even going slowly, the loco derails in forward and the tender derails in reverse. I've been running the Polar Express and the Erie Berkshire over this track for a week without issue. I don't recall seeing a minimum radius for this engine but maybe I missed it?

I ran mine on both radius Flyer Fastrack curves with no issues.

All of mine run fine.
Get your eyes down to track level so you can see what is happening when it derails. Often some of the wheels are elevated off the top of the track before the derailment occurs.
Dips in the track, and misaligned truck sides are often the culprits.
Well a few tweaks to the track and all seems well at the moment. I got this s-trax used and some of it is less than perfect. I use it on a temporary basis this time of year. The Meteor is pulling the PE cars around without a problem but it still strikes me as strange that the Berks had zero problems with the track. Now to dig out the Meteor passenger cars! After that: test out the Legacy New Haven PA's!
