I own (well along with the bank and the IRS) a musical instrument store.  I had a friend email me this as he knows how much I am into model railroading and I thought I would pass it along.  I know there are several guitarists on here.  Pretty good use of an old Tyco transformer.

Heh.  Now I'm ancient I get up ~ when I used to get home, 5AM.

Don't care for stompboxes much myself.  A Strat & a '64 Princeton Reverb rules.  Too bad those days are gone for me and now I play my USA Strat through a Traynor YCV20, a Barber Tone Press compressor, and a Dunlop MXR 10-band graphic.

My USA Jazz Bass goes through a direct box and puts me at the mercy of the sound man for FOH, although I bring a 200 watt Carvin 2x10 for a stage monitor.

Pete
