Love it! Good job, I always like seeing homemade versions of things.
Nice job and wonderful video clip. Seemed like a lot of action going on as far as the movement of he saucer. Was there alt of manual input in the darkness or have you comeup with some incredible rigging to make the saucer fly away?
I wish I had a copy of the video or pictures. A friend put that exact alien ship onto one of the Lionel Pylon arms.
Another local friend 3D printed and used DIY electronics and LEDs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDEYqk9pSOU

That's a really fun take on the concept! A lot of action and sound for a small footprint (and price tag).
I have the original Menards "Steak Taker" on my layout. Gives me a chuckle whenever I look at it.
I bought one when it was available as I saw a "prototype" in Bowman, SC some years back:
Note that no cows were bothered; well, at least in Bowman!
Google street view shows that it was still there in 2019:

And is even mentioned on the map view:

I just happened to have dark clothes on and put on a pair of black gloves.
I was standing right behind it and was holding it and moving it by hand.
I was surprised how well i diappeared from the video.
