Maybe remove your state and include which state you're from in the bio.
that is a truly annoying "feature" when I travel
Does sound like Hoopla needs to update their table to put AZ on its own time zone
I can't answer because I have never seen this.
Is the time zone setting correct on your computer? UTC -7:00 Arizona
Uncheck automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time.
Set the time on the computer to automatically sync.
click Start button>type change time in search box>select change time zone from results> verify settings>ok
Run a full security scan lately?
I get it on both the iPad and the Laptop after the clock resets when I cross time zones. Just says something along the lines of its detected that you are in a new time zone and would you like to update . You click yes it goes away till I switch time zones again
And no Moonman its not a trojan or malware
Thanks, Chris. makes sense unless you are not moving the computer. I did noticed after the recent round of updates that hoop performed on the website that they are collecting more analytical data. I now have to dumb down my tracking protection (cookie filtering)settings to see pics and vids on the forum.
Another setting to try is the "location awareness" settings that tell websites just that, where your current ip address is located. I don't know how to do that for iOS's, but in Windows, you can turn it off. I do.
computer is set to utc az 7:00 but for some reason hoopla will only link me to pacific time I think this is where the banner comes from wanting me to change my time zone.
my bio shows Az so must be a hoopla oversight and thank goodness we don't have daylight saving time.
as a side note most are on daylight saving time and are off it a mere 3 months why not just cut to the chase and stay on it period?? just sayin
If Illinois were on DST in the winter, the kids would have to wait for the school bus in the dark.
What difference does it make?
Maybe Hoopla is suggesting you live in the Pacific Time Zone?
