This 1938 Movie features a giant outdoor tinplate layout with numerous classic tinplate accessories, and, a purported "race between two tinplate steamers, including a famous streamliner. The movie stars Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Rosalind Russell, and Patrick Knowles.
The movie might be a nice diversion, and an interesting glimpse into Hollywood's depiction of a wealthy trainfan's giant outdoor layout from the late 1930's. I was watching the movie last night, and the tinplate layout came as quite a surprise!
