Anyone ever deal with this LHS? I placed an order about 2 weeks ago on their website for an item I've had trouble locating, but haven't heard a word back.  No charge to my MC, but no response to emails and no answers to phone calls.  There's no answering machine or voice mail, either.  I see they're only open on weekends but am thinking this place is closed.  Any locals have any insight?  Thanks!

Eugene...if I'm not mistaken, he is still closed. A friend of mine was up there a few weeks ago and reported it still closed. Catoctin Mountain Trains, my go to place, is just a short, roughly 20 minute ride up Rt. 15. They are closed this week as Paul and Marcia are taking a much needed vacation.

Hope you've been well. Haven't seen you in Engine House Hobbies lately.

Matt, nice hearing from you.  I had knee and shoulder replacement surgeries this past year and I have been teaching my son how to fly.  My trips to Engine House Hobbies have been infrequent this past year.  Hope you are doing well.  I will drop by the Frederick Junction location after my last student this Saturday.

John closed his brick and mortar operation over four years ago.  As he was going out the door he mentioned that he would keep his website open for about six months to sell off his inventory.  I believe that most of the remaining inventory has been sold over the past couple of years at a local toy train auction.  I'm not sure why he hasn't taken down his website.
