FREE Open House this Weekend

The times for Saturday are 9:00 - 5:00 and Sunday 9:00 - 4:00.

Club address: 201 N. Griffith Blvd. Griffith, Indiana 46319 

The 400 square foot Inland Steel complex is nearly complete.  This is a pretty amazing representation of the Chicago-area steelmaker had 14,000 employees and was producing 3.4 million tons of steel per year during WWII.  

This entire facility was built by a single member of our club, Chuck Conn, that actually worked for Inland Steel.  For several years, before joining our club, Chuck spent countless hours in his garage building the many structures that occupy this space.

AND Jim was too modest to state that they have the greatest bunch of guys in their club that will make you feel welcome and glad that you came. 

This club and their layout just keeps getting better and better.  If you haven't seen it yet, you need to make a trip over there.  You won't be disappointed.

Open and running trains today from 9:00 - 4:00.  Come in out of the heat.  Running trains does not have to be a just a Fall/Winter activity.

And... bring your camera.
