I would bet a lot of people here work with more than one gauge, myself included. I would not mind being able to easily check in on discussion of G gauge issues when I am reading O gauge comments.

You could also then make a case that Real Trains doesn't belong here, either.  After all, we're talking about toy trains.

I don't remember who's idea it was for the S Scale forum, but I'm glad it's here.  As far as I can tell, the S Scale forum isn't crowding anyone else out of any server space.  Nobody's forcing anyone to read the S Scale forum.

And any Sn3, Sn30 or SnWhatever is welcome on the S Scale forum.

From a couple of searches I've done, there's been a number of posts about G scale/gauge here on OGR, I just thought it would be nice to have them all in one place and establish it's own separate sub-forum.

If size/gauge is seen to be a problem, then S and narrow gauge don't belong here either.  How bout "Standard gauge"?

Being the 2 biggest O scale makers ALSO make G/1 gauge stuff, why not?

Rick, Most of the posts I saw were in the 2-rail section, and some hard to determine if they were G or not.  Engineer Joe has posted several times on his G scale endeavors.  I see him and DennisB on the other forums.

I'm having a blast running my G 4-6-0 and would like to share thoughts with folks, HERE!

Since I am active in multiple scales and enjoy participating in threads when someone asks about HO or N, I once posted an inquiry regarding the possibility of a forum for discussion of scales other than O. Rich was kind enough to take time to provide an explanation as to why he would be reluctant to expand the site in this regard. Rich's response was all quite logical and acceptable to me. Here's the link to the thread I started:

I would still like to see something in this regard at some point but totally understand management's position on the matter as it was explained to me.
