I am in the process of establishing a control panel remote from the individual couplers and must lengthen their individual wires to this panel for operating their respective uncoupling plunger push button switches. The operating voltage per uncoupler is 14 to 18 volt AC, since this is an inductor can one determine either the coil resistance or amperage using a digital multimeter. Once the amperage is determined, the 2 conductor insulated unshielded ribbon wire can be determined. Gargraves is currently closed for vacation, reopening on July 14 for direct contact.
