Gargraves switch issue

Has anyone experienced the switch legs on a Gargraves switch loosening up and shorting out? It appears the rivets holding down each switch leg have loosened up and are allowing the each leg to come up and hit the center rail. Is there a way to tighten the rivets? gargraves 1

Do you have a rivet set? Or rivet kit with a rivet set included?

I've seen this on a couple of older switches. Judicious use of electrical tape on top of the touching frog surface can cure it sometimes. Clean the surface with alcohol to help adhesion. No guarantees, but it has worked. Seems long-lasting.
